Description
Making vinaigrette at home is a piece of cake! Try it, you won’t go back to store bought.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a salad shaker, mason jar, or another covered container.
- Shake or whisk until everything is blended and salt is dissolved.
Notes
Serve with your favorite green salad or as a dressing on a pasta salad!
Other nice additions are minced shallots and dried or fresh herbs like oregano.
